We are pleased to present this 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Roadster for purchase. The first offers of the SL class simultaneously presented two grand touring roadsters. These cars weren't just pretty faces they were technically brilliant as well from their pioneering use of fuel injection to its independent rear suspension. The 190 SL is more cruiser than the 300 SL, but they share many of the iconic styling cues that turn every head on the road. While the 190 SL popularity was extremely high, only a total of 25,881 were built over a nine year production run. These cars are very rare and a solid investment for a collector.

This 190 SL is a product of a full nut & bolt restoration painted in its original factory color of Light Blue Metallic and built to original factory specifications. It's powered by the rebuilt original numbers matching 1.9L inline 4 cylinder engine producing 105 horsepower and rebuilt original 4-speed manual transmission. The innovative engine is a carbureted 4 cylinder breathing through twin Solex carburetors. The front axle wheels are individually mounted on double-wishbone tranverse links with central coil springs and hydraulic shock absorbers. The single-joint swing rear axle is based on the proven Mercedes-Benz racing design. This roadster is in excellent condition and has loads of curb appeal with classic style and an awesome color combination. It runs and drives great to cruise anywhere.
